Senior sustainability leaders develop corporate culture action plans

On February 23, 27 sustainability leaders from across Canada gathered to develop their respective action plans for integrating sustainability into their organizations’ cultures.

“It was one of the best sustainability events I’ve ever attended,” said Michelle White, Director of Sustainability for Indigo Books & Music. “In addition to presenting top-line business realities, it delivered the latest research available. All information was presented in a light of realism.”

Attendees included HR and sustainability directors, senior vice presidents of sustainability and marketing, as well as Presidents and CEO’s. The industries ranged from energy production and retail to not-for-profit and pharmaceutical.

A final report detailing the best practices for integrating sustainability into corporate cultures will be released in April.
